Well, I posted my photo of this in another thread recently, but there have been some interesting developments, and I think this mystery deserves its own thread now.

In a nutshell: Once upon a time I was just out driving around all day. With no purpose other than to explore. I happened to go behind another building somewhere in Western Mass, and noticed what I thought must be an abandoned B&M Depot. I got my camera, took a picture, and went on my way, not giving it any more thought.

Until a few years ago when I came across the photo. At that time I added it to my website about Mass and NH Mystery Depots. Recently I have learned a lot more, and just updated my page. I welcome any info you might have.

Here is the page.....

I was going to add, "Thanks to Buddy W, and to Alden". And I was going to e-mail Buddy to tell him I added his photos. But when I logged in today, I noticed Buddy posted a new thread yesterday. So I'll wait and let him see this and be surprized.

Here's the latest skinny on the TF building.

Just after the turn of the century--2000 - 2001 the person that owned the property that the station/freight house sat on demolished the building. The name was Macklin (hope I spelled it correctly).
This is from a phone conversation witht the Montague Town Office of Building Inspectors 5 minutes ago.

(Bump.)

Sad to say, but it has been confirmed that the former B&M depot was destroyed not too long ago. I will update the page on my Mystery Depots site to reflect this. Rats.

But hey, how about this awesome photo that Buddy came up with?
