Hi,
I have been trying to find pictures or track diagrams of the Mechanicville area .Particularly the hill yard and the Westvaco paper mill during the steam to diesel transition era (1940's/50's). I grew up just down the street in Stillwater ,I was just born about 50 years too late !

I suggest you contact Scott Whitney,,he works for the Vermont Railway,

he sells a CD disk on the B&M, Rutland,CV, etc,,for $ 10.00 which shows

track plan's,,grades ,,signals,,etc,,, ...... and it has Mechanicville,

on it..
