This book says: Purpose is meaning.
rell: I’m learning to perceive the egoworld
And everything in it in terms of my ego mind's eye.
I have learned that this information had nothing to do
With my own best interest.
God didn't create these goals of the ego...
Therefore they have no meaning.
These sorts of goal have nothing to do with my own best interest.
This false identification with the ego
Disqualifies me as understanding what anything is for.
This results in my misuse of the ego's goals.
This is another “I” eye opener:
"I have no personal interest." LOL
But, how could I have personal interests since I have no neutral thoughts?
If indeed, my thoughts for True & Good are connected to God's Thoughts
Then my only True & Good interests are connected to God's Interests?
If I'd continue on to cherishing my egogoals with this awareness...
Then I really have no goals at all...concluding:
"I do not know what anything is for." ?
I wasn't brought up to think this way, were you?
Would I want to continue to think with ego? or with God?
I don't think so, if/and indeed God does know my own best interests.
I say, "If/and" because I will think one way or the other, not both...
