It may start to happen for you when:
when one has no other gods before them, or at least not very many left, and becomes aware of those;
when one can get to a point of their Spiritual Acceptance in their Oneness with God;
when one knows we have never been separated from God;
when one gets past some of the rage, or the denial that there is rage, for having been duped into fear based religiosity with a manipulating God standing over them;
when one can understand my statement: “I am God’s denomination;”
when their foremost desire is to love God as you do your puppy, neighbor, spouse, friend, relatives, or vice versa, and mainly vice versa;
when one can become aware of the abundance of God’s Love, which includes everything we have opened our minds up to receive;
when we can at last find a way to cease investing in any fear thoughts influenced by ego and be contented to bless what we do have at this very moment with extreme gratefulness, which will wipe out every scarcity investment;
when one begins to be aware of an excellent knowingness without questioning your motives, their motives;
when one is unaware of laying in an await for the next great event to fall and then when it does, just grin…mostly do not talk about it to anyone other than someone who knows;
and last…when one can know that none of above can be bypassed without resentments and confusion (confusion is only fear that one is not getting it right?);
then one is likely to hear that awareness, that Voice that gives us Information that no other human can be responsible for us getting;

You know that God is in everything you see...
May I suggest that you take a journal and start jotting down all the happenings from your past, so that you will cease feeling left out? LOL... and to take in God's generosity to you?
