Catching up on this Mental Equivalent of Fox's

This article on Fox's Mental Equivalent has many powerful aspects to it.

Limiting beliefs, just like positive, empowering thoughts provide a foundation for our experiences and what we demonstrate. Old beliefs can leave us behind and are often stale, lingering ideas leftover from our childhood experiences or from other areas of life that no longer carry any useful meaning. Abandoning negative assumptions about lack opens room to develop an abundant mindset. We can do that by setting a new mental equivalent that resets the dial on our trust channel ' the channel we listen to that tells us to trust that we already have everything. A belief system must change in order to create a new reality.

{{{Yes, Patrick, "limiting beliefs" and "old beliefs" can leave us far behind, and the empathetic concern is that those who live from their inherited limited beliefs are not really aware of that limitation and that one is too caught up in their own lassoing to move out of it.

Dr. David Hawkins, "Power vs Force" has muscle tested, via kinesiology, the "Map of Consciousness," a path out for those interested.}}}

{{{Yes, Patrick it could...and are you aware that when one wishes to "assume" from many of their thoughts, how important it is for that one to be in control?}}}

We can do that by setting a new mental equivalent that resets the dial on our trust channel.
{{{sadly enough, this would require one to give up controlling the outcome...do you have any idea how scary the unseen outcome might be, or the reticence to even to think about that 'fearful' outcome?" Why do you suppose one wants to “assume” instead of merely asking the "yes" or "no" questions...? Answer, right or wrong that one is still in charge/control ...and is taking no chances...and if they did then they know full well how to "assume" the final date for the outcome which will sabotage that outcome, and now...see who is right? And a final decision cut off date by the scary one…is not a built in given that comes with trust.}}}

Emmet Fox, a 1940's New Thought minister and author, stressed the importance of setting a mental equivalent to create an abundant life, borrowing the term from chemistry and physics. For example, engineers must work out the equivalent of heat in order to determine how much energy it represents in the form of another energy. They can determine how much fuel it takes to drive an engine and how much processing energy it takes to produce the fuel. A mental equivalent is a wonderful metaphor for how we are perfectly capable of instituting positive change in our lives and world. Like engineers, we can create the equivalent of every experience or object in the physical world by changing the thought to which it corresponds.

{{{oh, yes, for those who can go with this flow.}}}

{{{There is a movie, "The Secret" out now that tends to promote the book, "The Law of Attraction." Yet, this movie gives many parameters of the much earlier Emmet Fox's Mentally Equivalent vision...and I also believe that this generation is very ready to be open to this message...certainly the negative thoughts got one very little.}}}

This is rell on C'mas eve...wishing you all the love you can know...
