ACIM #133 “I will not value the valueless.”

This lesson is bringing us back to some practical concerns.

“You do not ask too much of life.
      But ...far.... too ....little.”
Instead we tend to let our minds be drawn to bodily things.
In doing so...we ask for sorrow.

The Course will not take anything away from us.
Nor substitute Utopian ideas for what we see as our satisfactions.
Today’s lesson lists the real criteria
In order for us to test our desires and our yens.

This lesson offers us Universal Laws that governs choices...
We do not make these Laws...
And God’s Laws can not be manipulated.

It may be wise to learn these Laws
And to commence to set them in motion
When and what we get to choose between.
The choice range is clearly two...unchangeable.

Another Law is: There is no compromise.
The choice may bring us everything or nothing.

If you choose the valueless it is a temporary choice
And will not be of any value to us at all.
In time, it will fade away as all have done.
What fades and dies was never there.
      We are deceived by nothing...
Yes, in this form we think we like what we think we see.

Next Law: If we greedily take from another
      We will have nothing left.

Law: When, or if, we deny “their” rights to anything
We then deny our rights to all things.
Unable to ever recognize that we ever had it all...
      All the time…
      And had it abundantly.
Those who seek to take...called steal,
Are deceived by the illusion of loss or scarcity.

The next Law under consideration is a very guilting Law.
Is the hardest of all Laws to comprehend without deception
In the very best of us...
And does tend to guilt us good.
This guilt, is sorta unbeknownst to us...
You may want to study this Law in depth
In your Workbook lesson #133 paragraphs 8 through 11 inclusively.

Choosing is very easy...complexity is at zero.
But a smokescreen which hides the very simple fact is:
That no decision can be very difficult.
In learning this what is our easy gain?
Far more...than us making choices without the pain.

All things are valuable or valueless...
      Worthy or not of wanting.

Remember when we leave these bodies behind
Heaven is reached with empty hands and an open mind
Which we’ve learned that we do live eternally...
      Our spirit never dies.
I will continue to study this lesson today on what
I value that really belongs to me...amen
