I was reading on this site awhile back about cap guns and the nostalgia they create for many of us. Names like the Nichols Stallion, the American, the Long Tom, the Fanner 50 and such bring back wonderful memories. If any of you want to really wallow in nostalgia go to Mike Nichol's website, www.nicholscapguns.com and browse awhile. Mike's Dad and uncle started the Nichols toy gun company in 1946 and he has done a wonderful job of bringing back the history of his Dad's company and other companies that made toy guns. Most of us started with a cap gun!
