In March of 2006 my husband tore his acl, mcl and his miniscus (sp?and had surgery in April of 06 and was skiing by January of 2007....
It still hurts him at times and he already has arthiritis in it, but can ski and we are investing in a pair of knee braces that sounds to be the best for the value and there are two of them (to protect your other knee) - Asterisk knee braces (they are made for motorcross riders, but have heard raves reviews from skiers and boarders who have torn their acl).
