So what happened with TAS? Did you try it, and (if so) what did you think? How did your son like racing (assuming he raced in the I-90)?
That race was a fiasco BTW. They don't usually have so many troubles. Timing issues, computer issues, strange course-setting etc. We CMAC coaches actually had our kids ski the GS course on SL skis since the course was basically a city-league course (but-as one coach noted- without the beer).
My son ended-up finishing pretty well, but he sure had to fight to survive those nasty ruts.
I'm already preparing for next year, and I'm working on a small book to help new parents prepare for racing. I hope to have it ready in about a month. Stay tuned.
