Rumor Update

I rode to the top on Saturday, saw the control room pad had been poured that morning. There was a crew down low pouring another footing, and I spoke with somebody that I think was the project manager. He said that they will be flying later this week to pour two of the upper footings and then to haul out the old towers. The concrete has to cure for about three weeks then they can set the new towers.

I then rode across the lower cross-over back to Hyak, and discovered the scary (on a motorcycle) broken bridge. I'll find a new route next time...
