It seems that the developers are running into some issues with the County. I can't find any recent news at the county level, but the latest debate I saw was over the sewer system. It doesn't look like it is any zoning issue that stopping them. It was private property initially from logging companies that eventually sold it off, but I don't see it being used for anything more than logging.
Snocadia claims that people have already purchased/reserved property out there, their site claims "Due To An Overwhelming Response For Reservations We Are No Longer Accepting Reservations At These Prices". Yeah right...
