Both UPS and the Post office will deliver to EITHER address for at least a year. That'll give you a year to notify the folks who send you stuff.
At least, that's the way it worked at my office.
Started out on a N/S dirt road extension to an E/W residential street, but two years ago the since-paved extension got an official avenue number, so the address for the property has changed completely. We still get deliveries to the to old addy, but that's because the delivery folks know who we are and where.
