| To park at Hyak you are required to have a Discover Pass, a Sno-Park pass and a "special grooming permit." The cost is $117.
I'm all for fee-based recreation (although it's quite un-American) but paying $117 for a parking pass and showing up two different times to find the trail not groomed is weak sauce.
