I have never enjoyed bullwheel unloading- it is so unforgiving. I've been hit in the back by chairs so many times- unless I push off really hard. But it is cheaper to build, so that's the way all modern lifts are made. Perhaps a designer will eventually figure out that you can move the bullwheel out 6 feet (or so) PAST the ramp and it doesn't add much cost.
I think the worst lift (in this regard) is the Triple-60 lift: no ramp, and no time either. Push hard or get hit are the only two options.
