I noticed this the other day, not sure how long its been there.

Looking towards Hyak from Gold Creek there is a flag pole on the hill between the JW Trail and Keechelus Lake Road

We saw it from the freeway for the first time Sunday Oct 25 coming home from lunch at the Red Horse Drive Inn in Eburg. We went down to the lake where you can see it. It looks like it is between the road and the lake from there.

It`s just a flag...no big deal. You guys must be really need some snow to fall! Me too.

There is someone working on that property, they have been there the last few weeks, not sure what they are doing. They must have put the flag pole up.

It's more than "just" a flag, its the U.S. flag and looks pretty darned good flying over the trees. I wish I knew the owner, I would like to salute him.

I agree, it does look pretty cool.
