I am curious if there are capital improvements planned due to this last winter's great showing.

The Summit will start construction of the new lodge at Silver Fir this summer. Completion is expected next summer.

I wonder if the footings for the Rampart lift will also be worked on? I heard that lift wasn't suppose to be completed until next fall.

I had not heard anything about a new lift this summer. I'll be up there tomorrow and will ping my sources within the company and see if I can confirm/deny such hopeful musings...

They did the surveying and staked out the lift last October. I posted photo's in my flikr page at the time.
