While browsing thru HLJ today I came across this 1/48 resin HMMV Cargo from Plus Model of the Czech Republic. To date this company has been ALL 1/35 except for some 1/48 scale tree leaves.
Maybe they are testing the waters...

...and, it also looks like the Tamiya 1/48 Jeep will be out as a "preassembled" model in Dec./07, priced on the $30-35.00 range.

Not exactly a new kit George, its been out for about a year or perhaps 18 months. HLJ have only recently started stocking Plus Model items, which could be why you've not seen the kit or the other accessories they do in 1/48.
