Over on the M-L 1/48 DG, CMK has posted some pics of a forthcoming conversion making the Tamiya Steyr 1500A command car into a light truck. It has the later Masonite-wood square cab, but it is a really neat little vehicle. The Tamiya chassis with its molded on rear springs will mess up the rear a bit, but I plan to get at least a couple, and Stepan has more conversions for the Tamiya Steyr in the works. If you go to PMMS and look at the Leadwarrior conversions for the 1/35 Tamiya Steyr, you'll see the vast array of vehicle models that can be made from that kit.
