Good Morning Lads;

I just finished the build on my latest kit, Tamiya's KV1. I did some modest scratchbuilt details, and I thought I'd share a few pics before the paint starts to fly.

All comments are, as usual, more than welcome.

As a big Russian Armor fan, I can't wait to see this one painted. I have the KV85 and CMK T34 conversions on the way. Those copper wires I'm sure will be challenging, so I'm grateful for Brett's Green article on the KV85. Will there be any articles that go along with this build?

This is a great looking model. The battle damage is excellent except for the rear left fender - looks like something took a bite out of it. I would try to replace the end with some aluminum foil that could be dented up to look like the thin metal used for the fenders, which was easily damaged.

...what did you use for the tow cables? Can't determine if there's a twist in it or not. I think the camera flash might have washed it out. Is it nylon thread?
