Looks good so far

I like the look of your road wheels and tracks. The worn paintjob is a nice touch. The rusty cables I would make less so, but that's just preference talking. Nice job,
GREG

Magnifique!!!

November 20 2007, 4:16 AM

David,

Very beautifull BIG cat you have here. I really like the faded base color very much. I love that used look and the tank looks very HEAVY to me, which is a very good thing too.

My two cents are:

1) Your beast needs dust, dust and dust. I do not mind if sand or earth shade (I leave that to your discretion) but a dusty looks would fit very well in my opinion.

2) Please do not leave those towing cables so rusty. Towing cables can de dusty, but on every tank manual you can read towing cables must have good condition because if not they will break easily and those cables are very precious for tank crews. In fact towing cables are protected by oil/grease to avoid rust actually.

Good wrok and nice pictures too.

Very impressive! I really like it.

As long as people are making suggestions I'd suggest that you first give the decals a thin spray of the Dunkelgelb to fade them, then paint some grey scratches on them to make them look like part of the paintwork.

Three thumbs up!

November 20 2007, 12:28 PM

Hello my friends,

Firstable,i would like to thank all of you for your comments and many suggestions !

And thank you Lu for your kind word ( i whish that one day we can take a cup of coffee together because you are a master for me !! )

For the towing cables , you have right ,they are too rusty ( grrrr i like so much to make some heavy things lols ) and at this time i'm working on them with oils paint !

And i'v started to make this little cat more dusty but (for one time ,it'll be light ) ,and i have to finishing the tracks!

The dust is made by mixing 2 reference of Pigments Mig Prod !

Here the photos :

Maybe should i make more variation on the dust?

Please, don't hesitate to tell me if it's not good !

See you,
David

Will you be sending some pics for the gallery and describing your paint and methods? I think it's perfect! (after paint or darkening the cables with pigments) GREG

Same here...

I have to agree with Greg, I too like it just the way it is. To me it appears as a very well used and massively heavy beast. Very well done kitty!

I LOVE coffee.... : )

November 22 2007, 7:23 AM

Dear David,

You must know I love coffee, so I would be glad to have that cup and chat with you one fine day in the future.

It seems admiration is mutual as I am fan of your beautifull models too. By the way, Will we have a chance to see this one in the mags too?. Please keep us informed if so.

Ohhh... I almost forget it. Your Tiger looks much greater now. Well done. this one is almost complete now.

Best
Lu
