Andrew is buying it from a company....... that just slipped my mind, wow had it just a second ago, started with a J. Can I get that company name and contact info, along with any other known source for ATAK products? Thanks folks, and MERRY CHRISTMAS to you all.

Jadar Hobbies

I believe it is Jadar Hobbies you want. Here is the link:

http://www.jadar.com.pl/start-a.htm

I picked up a few items from them myself, including the 1/48 zimmerit for the Tiger II.

I don't know of another source, as that is where I have obtained my ATAK items, also PART p/e and ARMO turned barrels.

Isn't that stuff sold through Milan Vins at Tracks N Troops? Have you also tried MMD/Squadron or Stevens International?

Troops n Tracks seem to specialise in 1/72 & 1/76 scale armour these days. I just did a quick check and found that Great Models have the two King Tiger sets listed as "in stock" but don't yet have the other set for the Pz IV.

Jadar

December 20 2007, 9:21 AM

Jadar does carry them. I bought the KT Porsche set about 2 months ago. At that time Darek Szenfeld, the owner, said the Pz. IV sets were due in anytime. The KT set went on as advertised.....I cut the pieces out.....rub them on a very coarse sanding stick to roughen the back....take off any details that are replaced with the zimmie, and roughen that area.....put it on
with 5 minute epoxy.....and voila'....it's done. You can cut out missing sections....or even sand it through in areas. Put the epoxy on with a toothpick and spread it around.....push the zimmie in place and smooth it down....wiping any excess that comes out the edges. Work your way around the tank and turret....let each panel set up. It took me about two hours to do the whole tank.HTH, Dave
