Extra, extra! Great news from Hasegawa!

Hi, all, again!

I received the Hasegawa 2008 catalogue from HLJ yesterday and, to my surprise and joy, they announce a Kurogane Japanese Staff Car in 1/48 for the next year! So we will have two options for this "funny" vehicle, the Tamiya one and the Hasegawa versión...

Judging by the line illustration, it will include a forward firing machine gun and unfolded top.

Keep these way, Mr. Hasegawa! What about some Peugeot and Opel staff cars now?

Best regards.

CAESAR (S.P.Q.R.).

Cesar, This is indeed great news. Now if I get a Kengi kit...I will have something to put with it!!I hope the Tamiya Ford Staff car and the Jap. one are released as seperate kits.....sooner, rather than later!!!

Kurogane!

Hello.

I wonder which version they are planning on doing?
Isamu have you seen any art work for it yet? If it's the later version. It will make it easier to do the pickup truck.

Hi John,

I'm not positive, but it looks like a real scout car (see the machinegun?), and not the 3-seat staff car that Tamiya has put out. (Then again, it says 3-gata, which means Model 3, so it can't be that early a model, can it?)

Hello Isamu.

Thanks for the image. That looks to be the same version as the Tamiya Kurogane. They have just added an MG to make it different.
