Your products are great. I've ordered turrets and hulls for the M4. I'm going to order several lower hulls. Since you produce the upper and lower hulls and turrets for the M4...why don't you do something no other aftermarket mfg. has done. Please make bogies and wheels, and tracks.
No one does these with the exception Kenji. We could put together almost every variant of Sherman using your parts (complete kits maybe?).
Think about it. GREAT STUFF GUYS.

Bruce

The tracks will be available from Tim at Fighting 48th some time soon as several threads below.

I agree that decent double sided ribbed roadwheels and idlers would be good. Come to think replacement welded 5 spoke to replace some of the dodgier Hobby Boss offerings would be good too.

What I REALLY want are the corrected E8 suspension frames so I can have fun with the Israeli Shermans

Bloody Great Stuff Bob ...

January 30 2008, 1:12 PM

Hi All;

I would just like to reinforce Bruce Openshaw's comments stating that
TOPGUN/IRON DIVISION products are top notch, and the best thing to
reach 1/48 scale armor fans in the past year.
***************
(1) Excellent product, that is packed safely, and sold at a fair price.
(2) A "friendly resin" conversion kit with good instructions enclosed.
(3) One more excellent 1/48 armor source in the USA.
(4) A firm that "listens" to 1/48 armor modelers and comes through.
***************
In many ways... these guys are the answer to our prayers, and are
just one more player that can help fill in the gaps left by Tamiya
and the other Big Guys.

I couldn't agree more!

January 30 2008, 5:24 PM

Hi All;

I have to echo all George's comments.....Bob & Steve's bits are top drawer. I have the M4A1(W) hull, which I am planning on using with the HB kit, and the casting is flawless. AND, they are interested in our feedback...AND their prices are great too. What more could we want????

Keep up the good work TopGun Military, you really are the answer to our prawers.

Cheers, Pat

Awww shucks guys, just trying to help you all out! Steve and I want to thank everyone for their excellent compliments on our product line and just want to let you know, we will keep up the good work! Lot's more BIG surprises coming in the next months.

No Nik, haven't forgotten those easy-eight suspension frames. I have them cut, just trying to figure out the cleanest way to cast them (and the most User-Freindly method).

Thanks a bunch George! Some of our products and upcoming ones wouldn't be possible without your fantastic line of drawings!

Thank you Pat, glad you liked the Hull. Yes, more Sherman stuff is coming out!

Yes, we do and will continue to, listen to you folks out there. You and your input determines what we produce and what is yet to come!

Thanks for your support!

Any chance that a 17-pounder or perhaps a 6-pounder/57mm anti-tank gun might be in the works?

MMMM! Some Brit antitank guns would be fabulous! If anyone out there is listening I have an old Airfix 17pdr to contribute as a "Reverse engineering" tool to get the project started! Chris Schwach

Da Boyz.....

I can assure you all that there is stuff coming from Iron Division that will knock your socks off. I delivered several items to Bob for research with documentation, and I think you will be happy with the results. I am happy to help these folks because they are listening to the customers and trying to meet our needs; what a concept.....

Hi Guys

I know you're busy granting our wishes and I'm sorry if I seemed ungrateful. Believe me I'm not. The only 'problem' I have at the moment is trying to convince myself to buy stuff now rather than wait until everything is on sale.

I'm not complaining, it's a wonderful situation to be in.

As I've just been made redundant I can see an irresponsible purchase coming

On Sale? I might run sales on stuff farther down the road or offer up combination Kits for the conversions like selling the base kits with the conversions or combining Resin Sets at sale prices. But again, that is farther down the road. Maybe in a few months once sales start picking up and the product line is larger. Unfortunately, right now we have a rather large investment to pay off.

More kudos to Bob and Steve

February 1 2008, 9:38 AM

Just got my order a few days ago...WOW. Love the stuff!!! Can't wait for the 76mm turret upgrade to be released, and I'll be getting the composite M4 hull as well. I'll really be set when Tim releases the Sherman tracks. I've been away from home so long I'd almost forgotten how to build a kit. I'll have some completed Shermans in the near future, though, and I hope they'll be worthy of being posted here.
Thanks again, guys!!

To clarify I meant as soon as everything I have on my wishlist is avaliable. I will try to be more precise in future

Well spoken Nik, when in London I used to speak with a heavy southern drawl just for fun sometimes. Got alot of laughs and the old "what the bloody h-ll is he saying?"

Thanks Dave, glad you liked them.

Again, thanks everyone for your kind comments. Watch the Website, you'll never know what I'll be up to next. There are the posted new releases but once in a while I'll see something that doesn't look too difficult. Next thing I know it's in the molds!

As Bruce Culver mentioned, he's sent me some ineteresting things to work with and I've been doing just that. Working with them!

Have a great day everyone!
