Fact: all production 'Henschel' type KT's were zimmerited until mid-Sept.'44. Q: When was the ambush camo 'Hinterhalten' (3-color with contrasting spots) first used? And did these two periods overlap? I'm in the process of building a KT with Cavalier zimmerit (very nice,BTW!)and would still like to use that camo pattern, preferably in late summer or early fall '44. Would this be historically correct? Some would probably be seen during the Ardennes Offensive, but I would rather model in a summer or fall setting. I've got a ton of reference, but none of it gives a firm date on that camo pattern.
