New Kit News on Perth's site shows a 1/35th Churchill Mk.III and a seperate track set kit. MAYBE, just maybe, they might think of pantographing it down to 1/48. They still are showing the Sturmtiger and Halftracks in 1/48...no date...just "2008".......
I know I'l buy a 1/35th Churchill....I have plenty of figures to use with it......
Just thought Tim and bruce and all us long suffering Churchill junkies would like to know this.
On the Kurogane Front....the Has. Ki-45 with the Isuzu fuel truck is out in the US....the Kurogane with the Isuzu flatbed truck is due out in Japan on Feb. 14.........

It has to be AFV CLUB. I really wish they would deliver what they promise in a reasonable time; this outfit has consistently pissed me off with their projected release schedules and consistent failure to deliver. They are so slow that someone else, who might just be considering producing a Churchill Mk 3, might not get to their's "Because...one will be released in the near future" yeah, right. I remember speaking years ago to the CEO of Academy/Minicraft while working with him on their Hummer Ambulance project in 35th scale. He was furious with the staff in Korea because while they had promised an M26 Pershing in 1/35th, they took so damn long to get started that Dragon beat them to it! Let's hope someone out their, Plastic mainline producer or aftermarket honcho get's the message and just does their own Churchill anyway. We have been waiting way too long for a Skid
Fizz 251 and who knows if the Sherman VC they have deep (DEEP) in their bag will ever see the light of day...Thank goodness Fighting 48 and Irondivision Resins have come to the rescue. Just my thoughts on this frustrating subject! Chris Schwach
I hear you Chris, and second that! I have been waiting for ICM's SdKfz 222 AC for quite a while now. Even contacted them and was told that it would be out in January. Well guess what...it isn't even on the radar yet. I'm hoping with the Nuremberg show that some of these long overdue items will be released. I live in hope.
Someone had the ICM 222 listed on ebay about a month ago, but I noticed the wait time was like 2 months so I'm guessing they were just projecting they'd have the kit soon. It was from the Ukraine or somewhere like that. It was listed for around $25 + $10-15 shipping so I stayed away. So, maybe it's on its way somewhere?
Some of the early announcements are showing up now, so it shouldn't be too long before the dancing, or wailing and gnashing of teeth start in earnest.....
