Posted on another site and was requested to post photo's and this was easier. The first one is with the Henschel Suspension and the second one has a Porsche suspension and transport tracks

Pretty!

Hi Steve;

These two are looking sweet indeed. The scratchbuilt Porsche suspension looks very, very nice, and scaled perfectly too. Nicely done, Mate!

Please, Steve, post more pics of these( and the Crab/Firefly) as soon as you can. I am keen to see these babies complete.

Excellent work, Steve, and Cheers, Pat

Every now and again I pull out my old Bandai Jagdtiger and plan how I'm going to correct it. I suppose I have to lengthen the Bandai lower hull about 1/4", scratch build new upper hull sides and fighting compartment, and use Tamiya Tiger ll hull roof parts, rear, suspension and tracks, use Bandai mantlet and gun, and use some Tamiya Jagdpanther hatches and roof components. That's at least 3 models to correct one! I'm open to cheaper solutions. Are you going to use yours as a master to cast a resin conversion kit?

Looks pretty amazing Steve. Good to see pics of so many of your pieces you've been working on. I wish more people would post their pics as they're all motivating to see and it keeps the creative juices flowing.

sorry Lu, no plans

to do any resin work for these. I do have molds for the Porsche suspension and the roof details. The rest would be too much work for me and with the BANDAI kit out of production I wouldn't think there would be much demand. I used several kits for mine, a deed I was willing to commit to for building a better Jagdtiger. after 30 plus years of 1/48 armor modelling I have a HUGE spare parts box.
