Beautiful models. It looks like you've extended them. Please give us some additional information. How far did you extend them? What did you use for tracks, roadwheels etc?
I extended the chassis at the rear end. The hull or fighting compartment was stretched in 2 locations. If you look closely at the picture of the Porsche suspension version you can see white styrene strips at the rear 1/3 of the fighting compartment and also just in front of the drivers position. The roof details are resin parts pulled from a TAMIYA Jagdpanther, and although they are not 100% accurate they are much better than the BANDAI parts. The commander's hatch is from the BANDAI kit, and all these details had to be repositioned to their more suited positions. I used the TAMIYA King Tiger tracks for both kits. I cut down the set for the Porsche version to replicate transport tracks. Due to the longer chassis I had to use some of the spare track links. The Porsche suspension itself is resin. I started by making a road wheel master from styrene and then cast the rest of the wheels. The same thing was done to build the trucks although I had to build a left and right side, then cast up 4 per side. A lot of other little pieces were taken from the TAMIYA King Tiger to make the kits a bit more accurate. Thats it I think, hope it helps a little bit?
