And for those who have read this far, I must say that the Legend set is GREAT value for money, at $10.99 with free shipping (see below). As the box top photo shows, this set contains everything but the kitchen sink: four lengths of track to use as add on armor, four jerry cans, six small pouches, two buckets, three storage boxes (metal), two boxes (wood), 11 "rolls" of various sizes, plus a "stack of stuff" for the rear deck. This represents VERY good value for money, and all the items are extremely well cast. Oh, and three Tommie tin helmets, plus four bottles (wine?), and three lots of track in track holders. More than enough stuff for one lone Firefly, so it can be shared among all your other Allied projects.
ALL Legend products are offered with free shipping worldwide by Lucky Models in Hong Kong. And to me, you can't beat free.
No doubt I need some Fighting48 track for at least one of these......... :-}
Got the Legends set...more than enough for multiple kits....very well cast...and except for the big pile o' stuff for the engine deck....you can use almost all of it on ANY Allied vehicle. Very useful set!!
Andrew, are you beginning to grasp what the word "Shermanoholic" truly denies?? I think you are beginning to see the light at the end of the tunnel....."Run, Forrest, Run", it's a TRAIN!!!!!!
And, there are always the car title loansharks....lose your ride...mo' time to model!!
As always, helpful and supportive.....Dave
Ha, sell my van? It is 13 years old, and has been thrashed by young kids. All that mud from all those rainy Seattle days playing soccer........
I don't think a repo man would bother, either. "Ain't worth repo-ing" he or she would say.........
However, you have made me think about something. My wife is always saying, when she looks at the van: "we ought to replace it", then sighs and says, "I just DON'T know where all the money goes........", and I get this look on my face, and slink off down to the basement to marvel at my "stack'o'kits"........
Did anyone mention AMPS vendor room.........
I blame my wife of course. She brought home this new fangled thing one day, called it a "Pewter" I believe I heard her say. Came with something called a "mouse", but it was the dang'dest mouse I had ever seen. Has this strange glowing red light under it if you lift it up, but must be one of those hairless Mexican mouses I have read 'bout in the paper, cause it don't have no hair on it's butt. Anyways, you "click" this mouse, and things show up on a giant screen. And if you click enough, and feed the screen some numbers off this card my wife has me carry in my wallet, well the darn'dest thing happens. "Bout a week to ten days later, this big brown truck pulls up outside the front lawn, and a guy in a matching brown uniform hands me a package, says "have a nice day", and off he drives. And inside the box! Ya' ain't never gonna believe this, but MODEL KITS and accessories. Praise the Lord and pass me some glue............

They have these cute little machines....and ya put that card in there...and it gives you money!! Ain't this country great??!! AND, if you use it too much, them bank people send you little letters in the mail....costs a bunch in "overdraft fees", whatever the Hell they are....but it's gits 'er done!! And them overdraft things...they ain't fee, they 'spensive. Stoopid bank folks....
