OK, I've moved off the couch (at least sometimes). One side they went on pretty smooth; the other side the rail was angled a little wrong and I had to do some fiddlin' for awhile. The Bandai I did awhile ago is just for comparison kicks. I'm not going to use all the skirts and spread them out for a StugIV and Whirbelwind for possible future builds. I've found virtually no pz IV J photos as I guess they stopped taking pictures of this poor tank by the end of the war. What 3 Number sequence and Number colors should I use for Normandy - anyone up for the big money question?
The one in the middle....much better than the one on the left....and better, by a foot, than the one on the right. Knee brace looks a little too new....better break out some waashes and pigments.....foot is VERY unrealistic. Needs more shading, more prominent highlighting. Too monochromatic.......maybe park it outdoors in the Sun for a few days?? HTH, Dave
The skirts look really good. I'm an old Bandai fan but while a nice job it pales in comparison. Oh, one other thing ; that wounded panzerman's foot is way out of scale! Hope you get well soon. As an old goaltender with gimpy knees, I cringe whenever I see a knee in a brace.
Not only do those toes not look right, but they don't smell right until I can shower saturday...aghh..vomit...blah! You did want realistic trench foot right? I got some ideas how I'll finish it now, so thanks again
