Does anybody have any good interior and rear view shots of this thing? I'm talking about the version that is similar to Tamiya's Steyr. Thank you!

Thanks a million Petr, just what I was looking for. Hmmm, some very interesting vehicles on that site and not too terribly difficult to make.

Mercedes 1500A....

Bob, the body for this thing is identical to the body for the Tamiya Steyr 1500A command car (the gray one, not the Kommandeurwagen). It is a standard Kfz 70 body, and was fitted to several 1.5 ton 4x4 chasses. You could almost do this as a conversion for the Tamiya Steyr kit, with a different front end chassis insert and engine section. How about the pix on the site Petr pointed out - great stuff.....

Fahrzeug site.....

Petr, thanks a bunch for calling out this site. Folks, this is a treasure trove of German and Allied softskins from WW2, including a number of interior shots of truck cabs, etc. These are vehicles available for movie/TV rental, and as such they are shown from several views. The list is arranged by year of manufacture, so you can do whatever period you want, but the German stuff starts on the first page in the 1930s and goes up to the late 1940s (the Opel Blitz trucks were built in their military configurations until 1950). I have bookmarked this site, and will add the photos top my collection as modeling references. Great stuff.... Bob, they have the Mercedes L3000S and both Typ S and Typ A Opels, metal and Einheits cabs, mostly in excellent (as in brand new) condition.
