Here ia a photo of whatfs been done so far. You will be pleased to know that I havenft had to grind any metal of the front to be able to fit the bow plates. But I did have to take a bit from the sides. So that I could set the plate that has the access hatches. Quite a bit was filed from that area. But I think I have the basic shape now. Still have to do the back of the fighting compartment and a little bit more pushing and shoving.

I have fitted a set of tracks from another PZ IV project. This particular Jagdpanzer will be wearing PzIII tracks when itfs finished.
Still trying to get a feel for this beastie! As you can see the gun mounting and mantlet are a long way from even being close to finished.

Is the gun mantlet, etc. from the Hetzer?

Yes it's from the Hetzer kit.Since I had the parts left over from a previous project I thought that they would make a good starting point.
