While going through a box of old kits, I found an ancinet Lindberg SdKfz 7 that I had built about 28 years ago. Does anyone remember that kit? If so, any idea what scale it is?

Thanks. I guess I should have been a bit more specific about the kit. It is somewhere in the 1/43-1/50 scale range and was hoping someone here would know.

While I'm not sure of the scale of this model, maybe 1/40?, when you compare it to one of the larger SdKfz 8 12 ton halftracks, it is pretty close to 1/48th. Back 35 years ago, it was a more or less viable idea to kitbash the larger vehicle on this basis, maybe even building the armored cab 88 version. Nowadays, I'm not so sure. Things have changed.....however, how badly would you want an SdKfz 8 ? Probably some 1/35th SdKfz 7 track bits could be put to good use. dan

Can you post a picture next to a ruler for us Chris? I have an ancient Lindberg DUKW and it is like 1/67 or 1/65 scale. Sounds line a very rare kit you have there

Love the SdKfz 222 CD !!!

I looked at the one on the Lindberg site and while they do look identical, there's no way that my kit is 1/32 scale! When I put it side by side with an old Tamiya one, the Lindberg one is smaller in all areas. I'm leaning towards it being 1/40 scale now. Too bad. I was hoping that it may have been another 1/48 scale option.
