To Bob and Steve: When will your 105mm turret be available?
To Steve Faxon: Could you provide a description of your 105mm turret, i.e., does it have the cheek bulge? If anyone has this turret, could you describe it please. I was thinking of ignoring the problems with the HB HVSS suspension and build a HVSS 105mm tank.
Yes, my representation of the 105mm turret has the cheek bulge. It also has the extra roof vent, small oval loaders hatch, hatch is molded separate, the commanders hatch is the periscope type and the hatch for it is also molded sparate, gun mount and shield which were specific to this type and also the 105mm gun barrel. There is a photo (not a close up) here on the TRACK48 site, go to the home page and click on FAXON CONVERSIONS. If I can help you in any other way just holler.
Hi Marlowe. I've got a hollow-cast and very detailed version coming out as soon as I get the bustle straight (shaved it alittle too much). It will represent a standard production version with cheek armor, both types of cupolas, open pistol port option and other goodies. Be at least another week before it is finished. It will be listed under our "XTRA DETAIL" line and sell for $6.50.

Yes John. In the set is a full vision cupola with hatch AND the early style cupola with hatches. All parts are fully detailed. It has become a "Standard" with the new series.

Finishing it up today, should have it in the molds tomorrow. There's a bunch of things on my workbench and in three different scales. Bout time I start clearing off the mess, one by one (in this case two by two).

I thought your earlier solid turrets were very nice (and they are), but these new "Extra Detail" turrets are something else! I don't know if anyone here has had the chance to build one of Bob's conversions yet, but I have and they are very very nice.
I can't wait for my "new" T23 to arrive. Keep it up, Bob, I could get one of everything you have made so far.
