I'm still working my way through the weathering steps now and will end with smokes and ashes of this freshly chard tank. I added track to the left front to cover up the gap that was showing between upper/lower hull when I removed the fender there. This is all pigment work, except some chipping wear you may faintly see. Sorry I need better lighting in my work room. Feed the suggestion box as you wish

If I may be blunt and brutal... Blunt: there's about a 1/2 mm gap between the upper and lower hull fronts, also between left side of the mantlet and turret front (although that may be a shadow); Brutal: the left front fender where it's damaged looks like it was just heated and bent - better to thin it frome the bottom side with a Dremel and crumple it, or use brass fenders and crumple them.

Thanks Leo, The fender I tried to sand thinner in parts but definately can see my heat and twist job I'll see if I can play with a dremel. As this tank is basically OOB to preserve the markings (future builders of this may wish to mask off the bear/star and re-paint the kit, but duh I hadn't thought of that). My real aim was to practice my weathering and diorama base work, and be more lazy about the tank keeping it OOB. I thought before about adding a weld seam in the turret gap but talked myself out of it, "This is the beauty of a blown up tank, these things can come come apart" (see pic, there's a gap there) I think the hole in the turret was the pistol port, so maybe I should drill one there - I thought it was a penetration hole before - live and learn. Thanks again for seeing this through

I've got the same Hobby Master model and I disassembled it as much as possible to rework and detail as much as possible in hopes of being able to enter it in competition. (If you disassemble/re-assemble, detail/correct/replace parts, and repaint, it's the same as building a kit, isn't it?). I have yet to add Hauler gas tanks/brackets, stowage, etc. If not too late you also might want to replace grab handles, and the muzzle brake has a bolt head on top surface near the rear end. Also the DSK mg with the kit is a bit chunky looking and I'm waiting for a suitable substitute - Hauler? Iron Division? Anyone...?
