I'm Building a M-10 from the 601st TD Btn. 1944 as per the illustrations in Concord US TD Book and the rear cover of US Tank destroyer Walk Around.
My Question. I am looking for close up photos of how this TD unit attached the track grouser on the side of the hull. It does not seen to match the 'standard' fitting as provided in all the kits and the etch sets.
Or an even better alternative, a photo a 601st TD with the 'standard' grouser fitting.
Also most 601st photos show the hull front with 3 racks fiited for Gas cans and stowage. They look unit specific. Were these standard fiiting to all 601 TD's ?
I wish to model the 601st as the green/sand scheme and large stars looks more interesting than the usuall OD. Scale of build is Tamiya 1/48
