Just saw this at Luckymodel. Supposed to be In Stock on the 24th.

The Autoblinda looks kind of nice. I would have prefered getting it alone, but I really don't mind building a "winged thingy" every now and then!!

Great news....

In the US, the retail price for the plane alone is about $35-40, thanks to the greed of the importer, so this is a real bargain. I think my planes will be going on eBay.....

Excellent!

That IS a good price. I might just keep and build the plane too, as a quick, diversionary project.

Already have got the box on my table. The price was some 40 USD (calculated from CZK currency). Definitely thanks for that model Italeri, but unfortunately it seems to me more as scaling-up the 1/72 kit than scaling-down the 1/35 one...
look at the review here: http://www.kitsreview.com/modules/news/article.php?storyid=2781

Italeri AB-41.....

I see what you mean about the kit being scaled up rather than down, but they had a heck of a better model to work from than ICM did with the SdKfz 222. Some of the smaller details will need reworking or replacing for a better appearance but, in the main, I think this will do nicely. It has a lot of exterior detail and the chassis is quite decent. The sides appear to be thin enough that someone of the requisite mental condition could easily put in a complete interior. If ICM had included this level of detail, no one would have complained about their kit very much. It looks like a winner to me, based on opening all the pictures in the review to full size. I'll get at least two, and perhaps more if decent photos show up for better schemes. Don't gorget the Germans used a lot of these in Italy after the Italian government surrender in September 1943.
