Here is my Firefly ready for the paint shop. My only concern is if I should add periscope guards. I have noticed that some shermans have them and some do not.
All the resin bits are a mixture of Verlinden and my own Turret Cast products.
Any suggestions or comments are welcome. Its great to be back in the quarter scale again.

Brett, I'd look at photos of Firefly ICs to see how many had the guards. I've been looking at a file (HUGE file) of French Shermans, and I'm amazed how few of the M4A2s they used had the periscope guards. Obviously, a lot of the reworked Shermans for the invasion nof Normandy and beyond didn't have the periscope guards. The M4A2s would probably have come from British stocks or contracts, so perhaps that's the reason.

What did you use for the tow cable ends? I'm still waiting for Tim Perry to start producing them (hint, hint!).

The tow cable ends are from a 1/72 scale PST KV-1, the large Russian cable ends scale out nicely in 1/48 for small cable ends.

Oh, something else to put on the list! Or dig out of the archive files. I had a look at these some time ago, didn't I....
