Hi Folks,

I was in Ottawa from June 8-13 for Citizenship training. In order to have the authority to grant Canadian citizenship I have to write a five hour exam. I don't get any more money, just more work! Not much of an incentive to pass the exam........
On a more relevant note while staying in Ottawa at the Canadian taxpayers expense I managed a visit to the new War museum. It's impressive. I visited the old museum in 2001 which was small and limited in its display space. Can't say that about the new one! WOW! If you live in or are visiting Ottawa make a visit a priority. The museum was designed by archetect Raymond Moriyama. Interestingly Mr. Moriyama and his parents were interned during WW2. Obviously he didn't hold a grudge, because the museum is spectacular. I watched a program on the History Channel about the Museum.. It is hard to describe but the design of the building gives you the feeling that you are on a battlefield. I spent 2 1/2 hours there and barely scratched the surface. I have lots of photos but can't seem to get the #$%%^&^@! Photobucket thing to work! I'll send them to Garfield and if he has time maybe he can post them.

Regards,

Clary Peters
