I just received my AB41...a very nice kit...hope it assembles tighter than it's 1/35th brother did.
Anyways, I'm thinking of reproducing the tires in resin...to eliminate the chance of the rubber/plastic reaction. Is there anyone out there who has the kit, or is going to get it....that would want a set? I may try to do a desert pattern set, too...but not sure. I'll play with casting the rubber ones, first....that may prove troublesome.

I'm in for two sets, Dave. I'm not sure how I'll use them yet, so I'd probably be in for the desert-pattern sets, too.

I've talked with my casting Guru....we are going to get together in the next two weeks and try. There is a question of rubber incompatibility. So I'm coating one with Future, then we try casting it. If it works, we are okay.
If you choose not to wait...dunk yours in Future....let it drip off and leave them hanging by a wire until dry. Stretch them carefully over the painted hubs....Dullcoat the whole deal...then finish weathering them. That is the standard way of preventing the dreaded mess from being created later on.......HTH, Dave
