Alright there is about a week to go till the Nats in Va. Beach. Anyone here going? I will be there on Wed. thru Saturday night. I am really looking forward to it. Hope to put some faces with names. How about you Garfield? Are you in? Got to go get ready.

Normally I attend the IPMS Nationals, but having talked my budget manager into letting me go to the AMPS Show in Indiana back in April, I promised I wouldn't try to con "she who must be obeyed" into the thought of a Virginia trip. I AM however definately going to make next year's event in Columbus, Ohio. The massive, and very impressive US Air Force Museum is nearby, and funnily enough Indiana is right next door so you could easily drive to the excellent armor museums in Indiana that I visited back in April, if going to Columbus next year for the IPMS Nats.

For those going to the Virginia Beach event, don't forget to take some nice photos and have Garfield publish them on T48.

I'm going, from Wednesday through Sunday morning. I got an email from Garfield; he won't be able to make it.

I have just two weeks vacation starting on Monday and I will have three kids on the first week and four on the second to keep busy.

NEXY YEAR I'M GOING TO COLUMBUS AND THAT IS FINAL!!!!! (Unless wifie says otherwise....whimper...whimper.....)

Let's plan a dinner/ drunken brawl for Track 48'ers in '09 at Columbus. I think we may have VP Operations-Western Hemisphere and beyond, Konrad Schreier in attendance. Maybe we should have a website brain-storming session to get some face to face dialogue about the site or chart out new directions if any...?

Thought about it but not in the cards (or budget) this year - Columbus will be on the schedule - are there dates on that yet ?
