Well guys, while checking the "Hannants" web site there was something that caught my eye since we have been discussing kitty cats aka, Panther. CMK stock # CMK8021 list's a Panther Bergepanther Ausuf C. conversion, probably for the Tamiya hull and running gear.
I still stand behind Bobs future Panther hulls, and have ordered several, can't wait to get them. Cheers, Alan Vandam

and I never noticed the missing stock number. This would be a real boon, but again we don't know exactly what it is. There was no "ausf C" Bergepanther, only the ausf A and the ausf G. I would guess the CMK conversion would more likely be the ausf G. It's less work for them to do, and who knows - there may be a restored Bergepanther in Europe and they'll go with whatever model that is. As long as it has the full Bergepanther rig (winch, spade, etc.), we'll be well-served. Good news again.

Hi Bruce, I went back into the Hannants web site to recheck, and the info was the same. The conversion is listed as a "future release", but I was also confused about the "Ausuf C designation". I checked my Panther books, and could not find a Bergepanther with that designation. My only hope is that the spade and winch are good, so we can make a Bergepanther from the pending A and D chassis. I assumed it was probably a mis-reading of "ausf G" and not a new variant. A poorly written "G" could be mistaken for a "C".
