I am sorry if I posted these before but all this Panther talk got me working on them again...........Glad someone will be making these more available to the 1/48 builders out there....

Here is my Panther D

The Panther A

And the Panther G with scratchbuilt infra red

Next up the Jagd Panther with early mantlet just to be different

Here is the BergePanther

Now for the odd balls,,,,,first off the 3.7cm Flak Panther, I had a turret about 90% scratchbuilt when Verlinden offered up this conversion kit. I bought one, and liked it better than mine so I built it up and added some zimmerit to match the hull

This is my Panther F based on some drawings by Hilary Doyle

And finally the Panther II with pictures showing 2 different turret types. The drive sprockets and road wheels are from a late Tiger I kit. The idlers are from a Bandai King Tiger as are the tracks cut down in width to represent transport type tracks

I am currently gathering up the information to build a Panzerbeobachtungswagen Panther and a version that mounted the Brumbar gun............

Steve, and I like the Panther D and A hulls and engine decks. What really still impresses me at first sight is how great those Tamiya late Panther tracks look on a model. When I first saw photos of the Tamiya Panther G with those tracks and the basic Hauler PE set, that's when I knew 1/48 armor had a future, and could compete fairly with 1/35.
