Finished up everything but the crew on this project, and thought I would share some images, as its off to the paint shop in a moment, so this is the last chance to see it sans paint. The kit is Tamiya, of course, fitted with the Fighting 48th extended end connector track-set, matched to the Hauler Crocodile conversion and detailed up with the Hauler basic Sherman set and some home-made bits. The Hauler conversion is a very easy build, and the only complication was caused by my inability to leave well enough alone

The Crocodile trailer has been back-dated with early style tow bars and lifting rings to match the photos in Steve Zalogas Funnies pictograph, and will represent the original test model as upgraded for combat use by the 739th tank battalion. Hope you all like it,

Oh, and please disregard the massive rubber traction bands on the track - they will be coming off shortly - I found out that they were only used in late 1943
