I know it's just around the corner but I was just wondering what some of you have planned for projects? I was also wondering what conversions are currently available for the SdKfz 251 in 1/48? I know that GASO.LINE has at least a couple, the /5-/7 pionierpanzerwagen and the /17 2cm Flak. Obviously some of the others would be fairly easy conversions, like the /2, /10 and a couple others, along with a complete kit of the Ausf D. I was just wondering what else is out there.........I'm sure a ton of conversion kits will be soon in coming........... I always liked the Stuka and flame thrower versions myself.

That's a fun link.

Of course I have entirely forgotten what we are (were) talking about.

If I only knew,

I'd be running up that hill,

With no problem.

I am thinking of a conversion.....

January 22 2009, 12:09 AM

to the ausf B. I have all the drawings and enough of the interior details to start. (And, Tom Jentz says there are no surviving drawings for the interior stowage for the '251 ausf A or B. happy.gif ) Obviously, there's a standard '251 ausf C to go along with the B. It looks like a beauty, from my look-see at the sprues last spring at AMPS and the photos on the web. I have several on order.....happy.gif I will be hors de combat for a time. I'm having an operation to remove a cataract so I can start modeling again. You young men can take that objective - I'll be watching from 5000 yards off shore through heavy lenses.....happy.gif
