Hi all,
I asked Piotr from RB Models if he would do the early (one part) Tiger II barrel as well as some BESA MG barrels plus a 2pdr. barrel for the Crusaders/Valentines and he showed real interest in it. Same with the 76.2mm M1A2 barrel mentioned by Tim.
Yet first in the line will be a barrel for the Tamiya Marder, which is great news. While Gaso.Line barrel is quite nice I really want a metal muzzle brake.
hear that news Frank. I would love to see the US 76 mm gun with muzzle brake. I would also love to see a metal gun for the SdKfz 222 , a nice Kw.K 38 would be much appreciated - SdKfz 222 , 234/1 , 250/9
and said that he will produce them one by one in 1/48th scale. Personally I would love the BESA MG barrels, the 2pdr. barrel, the 6pdr L/50 barrel with alternate counter weights as well as some more metal ammo sets to be released sooner than later. Wondering if there would be interest in 38cm ammo for the upcoming 1/48th scale Sturmtiger from AFV Club.
Best
Frank
P.S.: Working hard on the burned Tiger I in my spare time.... now I must convince Michal or anyboday else to make an interior set for the Skybow/AFV Club Tiger before I reach the point where I must close the hull:-(
But until now I wasn't successful to convince the guys offering an interior for the Tiger I. Maybe in the future as the AFV Club Tiger I kits are easily available by now. So far most guys refused my question because of the Tamiya kit's lower hull. I cross my fingers that one of the Czech companies might chance their opinion while looking over the Skybow/AFV Club Tiger I late or early kit. At least, I fired off some more mails asking for it a few days ago.
Hi Frank , I would be on for a couple of interiors- just received 4 AFV Club Tiger I early this morning to make it a total of 9 AFV CLub early and 4 Tiger Lates in my stash!
