Tim
I placed an order for your Sherman duckbill rubber chevron track. Wondering if you got the order. I can give you an order number. I can't make your e-mail address work for some reason.

Order

January 29 2009, 8:20 AM

Hi Bruce, I certainly got the order,  I'm at work right now so I can't check exactly when it was sent, but I don't have any outstanding orders at the moment, so it has certainly been posted. I'll get back to you on that.

Ref the e-mail, which one is giving you problems? I've just tested them both, that is

tim@tjpgraphics.com">tim@tjpgraphics.com>

info@fighting48th.com">info@fighting48th.com>

and they both worked OK.

dispatched...

January 29 2009, 2:33 PM

Bruce, your packet was posted on the 17th January, airmail small packet. Stuff usually takes a week or so to get from the UK to most countries outside Europe. Sometimes it is quicker, sometimes not so... I'll put in a claim if it hasn;t turned up in a week or so.

Guys, I have 'lost' several packets in the post recently,  one is being looked for in France right now, one th RSA, a couple to the USA etc. So far, I've soaked the damage, as the compensation from the Post Office is paltry, but if normal mail is going to go missing on a regular basis, I am going to have to put my mailing charges up to cover sending the goods insured.

Your collective thoughts on this?

Tim

PS I had a very frustrating conversation with a Post Office operative once, who simply couldn't grasp the fact that I didn't want lots of choices of level of compensation, or 'signed for', or extra this, or various different forms to fill in in case it went astray, or was delayed by 2 days, or 5 days, or on a Saturday. I don't care if they have 28 ways of discribing if something is lost.  I just wanted the parcel delivered. And that is it. End of my interest.

Is that SO difficult? Apparently it is....

Isn't the post wonderful? There's talk of US post office going to 5 day delivery. Stopping Staurday.

Tim, not that I know squat, but it is a possibility that the recent snow/ice storm across the U.S. is playing a bit of havoc on the postal delivery service. I'm sure that having all those power lines down must be stopping something.

FWIW

p.s. Paying more for shipping if it includes insurance is fine by me. Which reminds me that I must place an order soon.
