I had a look at the art work. Oh Wow!!!!!! For Roden to come in on the 1/48th party. Talk about something different! TOTS just keeps getting better and better.

Google says Roden's website may harm my computer!

While this is a cool development, for a first 1/48 kit I can't think of too much that is less obscure...

Excellent news.....

It should be possible then to model the R-R armoured cars from the 1940-41 desert campaign. Now, where's that Vickers Mk VIB light tank?

This armoured car would make for a brilliant diorama with the Bristol F2B Mk IV they have promised. The WWI kits they do are just fabulous, I have most of the Brit subjects just because they are just wonderful kits! Of course, if they wanted to go the whole hog, the could put a figure of T E Lawrence in with it as well! And that camel!!!!! Or even..... (gasp!)

a Brough Superior!!!

Rob, now there's an idea!!!

1920 pattern RRAC

Tim,

I suspect that TE used 1914 pattern cars but I'm sure a conversion for the 1914 pattern - (if it is technically possible to backdate a 1920 pattern to a 1914 pattern with the lower turret, spoked wheels and whatever else was needed) from a certain resin after market manufacturer would go down a treat!

...and you can't get any more British than a Rolls Royce!  I'd better start doing some research.

Tim, if you can find some plans for the Brough I'm in. Not sure how it would sell though!!
Perhaps we need a trip down to Lawrence's cottage near Bovington.
