Hi Dan,

Unfortunately, I don't think there are any options for either of these at the present time. Garfield used to have tracks for the Elefant and he did a run late last year, but I don't think he made any extras.

With regard to the Wespe, I think we're going to have to wait for someone to come out with a 1/48 Panzer II. Then I'm sure WWII Productions or someone will come out with replacement tracks.

Just a thought but could something from a 72nd scale model do the trick? Hetzer perhaps? Or else aftermarket Bren Carrier tracks in 35th?

Just a thought. I haven't any to measure myself.

Nick

Hello Dan; I am currently musing about the possibility of existing tracks, plastic or metal to replace the horrible Bandai Pnz 2 links. I think with a bit of surgery you could get by with Masterboxes 1/35 Panzer one links. Nicely done and fairly cheap. No they are not perfect; but would still look pretty good and would certainly be better than Bandais. I believe there are other possibilities too; another choice might be any replacement tracks in 1/35th that would fit the French Loraine tractor. Again, they are not a precisely correct alternative...just one that looks better and I believe is quite adequate for the job. Good luck and keep us all posted. Chris S.

I think that perhaps 1/48 is a bit.....

too small to have working PzKpfw II tracks from WWII Productions, nor would I look forward to putting several dozen of those things together. Link and length would seem to be a more practical way to go about doing the tracks for either the PzKpfw I or PzKpfw II. They are TINY, and mostly open "skeleton" tracks at that. Tim, lad (TM), how about a go in your abundant spare time.....happy.gif
