Let's just say there are some things I'd like to do in the future that would benefit from PE, as resin is too weak for really small-section items. I am also looking at having some masters done by rapid prototyping (3D) as there is no way my puny modeling skills will allow me to make some of the pieces..... You, of course, may draw your own conclusions.....
Regrettably, it will be some time before I can get everything together - I met with the resin guy, but he doesn't do many two-part molds, so I need some more research there. Plus, there is the little matter of buying equipment and getting set up.
However, I am pressing on: the masters and molds ID sent all look excellent, and now I'm waiting for Bob Batdorf to return the sample kits I sent him as reference so I can use them myself. Things are progressing, but more slowly than most of you would like. I do have some really nice stuff planned for later, but my time is more limited than I would have thought, and I do take that income hit May 1st, which may affect how much I can out into the new business right now. ID is not dead, though there will be a name change. Haven't figured out exactly what to call the new venture yet - want to make sure there IS a new venture. Chin up.....
