ToRo's latest release is another civilian, this time a young woman leading a horse and cart. Cast in resin, this figure is suitable for Mediterranean and possibly even scenes.



Following the girl and recalcitrant donkey, Toro's latest set offers some interesting diorama possibilities.

That horse and cart would be perfect for a little diorama showing JG26 pilots evacuating one airfield for another. There's a photo in "JG 26: Top Guns of the Luftwaffe" by Donald Caldwell that shows such a scene, and I think one could find a half dozen Luftwaffe pilots who are posed walking without too much trouble.

Now all I have to do is find a shop that carries Toro Models....

That's what I've been waiting for to do the scene in "The Big Red One" where the little boy has them cart his mother around to find the German Tank hiding in a house on the hill top. The lady can be made a sickle for the end of that scene where they chop up the guards. I'm going for that one after I finish the Sherman, the Ferdinand, The Stug IV scenes. Thanks for the news Konrad
